SNU Smile Center를 위한 공간 디자인 프로젝트입니다.
공간 안의 면적 당 인구를 분산시키며 공간의 구조를 다핵화하고자 하나의 로비가 아닌 여러 군데에 대기실을 구성해, 적당한 거리를 유지하며 쾌적하고 답답하지 않은 공간을 만들고자 했습니다. 또한, 한강과 남산타워까지 확 트인 전망을 가진 이점을 활용해 방문객이 병원에 대한 긴장감과 두려움을 덜어내고 편히 쉬며 대기할 수 있는 라운지 공간을 연출했습니다.
한 공간 안에 다양한 재료들의 향연이 펼쳐질 수 있도록 계획하고, 피부에 직접 닿는 부분에는 인조 가죽과 같은 촉각적 재료를 사용함으로써 공간에 풍부함을 더하며, 기능적, 효율적으로 공간을 사용할 수 있도록 설계했습니다.
 

This is an expansion project for interior work done in 2017 and 2019 for the SNU Eye Clinic, and is located on the 12th floor of the building.

In order to disperse the population per area and make the space multicentric, multiple lobbies were created, allowing the visitors to keep a reasonable distance from each other while creating a pleasant and comfortable waiting area. In addition, by taking advantage of the open view of the Han River and Namsan Tower, a lounge area was designed where visitors can relax and wait, and relieve their tension and fear that may arise from visiting a hospital.

The design was such that various materials interact with one another in the space, and tactile materials such as artificial leather were used for parts that come in direct contact with the skin to give the space more life. Care was taken to ensure the space was functional and effective.
