'BUILDING PROJECT'의 일환으로 만들어진 RED TRAVERTINE과 KYKNOS는 대리석이라는 재료에서 얻은 영감을 바탕으로 레이어들을 결합해 구조적인 형태로 쌓아올렸습니다. 특히 이번 프로젝트에 사용된 대리석 RED TRAVERTINE과 KYKNOS는 오묘하게 온전히 자기가 가진 색만으로 충분히 매력을 드러내며, 미니멀한 형태와 재료 본연의 결이 뒤섞여 하나로 완성되도록 기획하였습니다.

'BUILDING PROJECT'는 건축을 통해 경험한 여러 가지 형태와 구조, 수많은 레이어들의 결합에서 영감을 받아 제작하는 창작물 시리즈입니다.

Each material, such as wood, stone, and metal, has its own color. The types of marble used in the BUILDING PROJECT, Red Travertine and Kyknos, are mysterious. They show sufficient charm through their own colors, but blossom further when mixed with the minimal form and the natural texture of the material.

The BUILDING PROJECT also built up a structural shape by combining layers based on inspiration from marble. Like all the works of the BUILDING PROJECT, the layers are not fixed separately so that they were able to take different forms depending on how they are stacked.

The 'BUILDING PROJECT' is a series of creations inspired by the combination of many forms, structures, and numerous layers that HYUNJONG KIM has experienced in architecture.
