군포시에 지어질 복합체육센터 공모전 프로젝트입니다.​
대상지 위로 건물이 지어질 예정이지만 기존 대상지가 가졌던 자연과의 연계성을 그대로 이어가며 사회와 소통되길 바라는 큰 틀 안에서, 대지를 개발하는 행위들이 주변의 환경을 존중해줌으로써 관계를 단절시키지 않고, 나아가 대상지가 여러 관계들을 조율하는 역할의 건물이 될 수 있도록 설계했습니다.
건물 외관의 콘크리트 구조를 자연스럽게 드러내어 구조의 기능을 겸하는 동시에 건물 외관의 견고하고 수평적인 디자인이 되도록 의도하고, 구조를 통해 건물의 전체적인 매스감이 느껴질 수 있도록 계획했습니다. 주 출입구로 들어오자마자 마주하는 홀은 유동 인구가 많을 것을 염려해 최대한의 공용 공간을 구성하고, 1,2층의 천장 부분을 과감하게 삭제하여 개방감을 극대화했습니다. 또한, 전면부와 좌측면부에 광장을 연출함으로써 시민들 간의 교류의 장이 되는 공간을 만들었습니다. 
좌측면부 통유리를 통해 서쪽 산의 능선이 자연스럽게 건물 쪽으로 흘러들어오게 되며, 키즈 센터와 야외 놀이터를 연계하여 공간이 확장되어 보이도록 했습니다.
​수영장을 3층으로 올림으로써 기존의 지하 수영장들과는 다른 독창성을 가지는 공간을 기획하고, 통유리를 통해 스며드는 자연환경으로부터 '마치 숲속에서 수영을 하고 있는' 듯한 착각을 불러일으키고자 했습니다. 수영장의 하부는 이중 슬라브를 통해 추후 편리한 관리가 이루어지도록 설계했습니다.

This is a project for the Sports complex center competition to be built in Gunpo. The building will be built on the site without breaking the relationship with nature in the existing location by developing the land with respect to the surrounding environment. It is designed to serve a coordination role for various relationships in the community.
We intended to reveal the concrete structure of the building's exterior naturally in addition to its function as a structure and at the same time allow it to show the solid and level design of the building's exterior. We planned that the overall sense of mass of the building could be felt through the structure. 
The hall, which you see as soon as you enter the main entrance, has the maximum amount of public space in consideration of the large population. The ceiling of the 1st and 2nd floors is open to maximize its space. In addition, by creating a square on the front and left sides, it has created a space for citizens to communicate. The ridge of the western mountain naturally flows into the building through the glass of the left side. The space is made to look wider by connecting the kid's center with an outdoor playground.
As the swimming pool is located on the third floor, a unique space different from existing underground swimming pools is planned. It was intended to create the illusion of swimming in a forest in the natural environment that flows through the glass. The lower part of the swimming pool is designed with a double slab for easy maintenance in the future.
